I am not from the US, but ever since I started learning english and american culture I have always admired and respected them. However, it saddens me what has been happening for the last few years. These punks are trying to play revolution when there’s clearly nothing to rebel about. It’s alarming to see how many videos like these have been appearing all over and I just wanted to ask some one who lives in the US if this is becoming normal, or if these criminals are a minority and the rest of americans are still respectfull citizens.
anchuto it depends on whether you ask a policeman or a citizen. In my opinion as a citizen, the police are not here to Serve the people, but whoever writes their paycheck. They work for the government or state and are not even legally obligated to “help” citizens. Look up that law, It surprised me to find out.
It’s uncommon for people to be confrontational like this, but in cities it’s common for people to think like this but be too scared to do anything or say anything to people who actually know the laws.
Honestly, the first cop could’ve ticketed the dude and went on his way. He wasted his time trying to assert his dominance or whatever. The 2nd dude getting fucked over for no reason

What you believe is him asserting dominance is actually him just showing that you can’t argue around about something minor to try and get out of a ticket for something illegal. Worst thing is the guy pays a few Jackson’s ($20 bills) and replaces the bulb. Nothing on his record, no unnecessary drama, and no avoiding following the law. It’s clear they wanted to get out of the ticket by pretending they know more about the laws than the guys enforcing them. I was pulled over and ticketed for speeding in a 55mph zone but I was actually lit up before the speed limit changed. I had it on dash cam, but I complied with the officer and received the ticket and simply went to court with my footage. If the cops do something wrong, they should be reprimanded, but in this case, they were trying to force the officer into doing something wrong. They brought it on themselves entirely. It wasn’t some dominance showdown by the cops.

yes but that travel does not include operating a motor vehicle . operating a motor vehicle is not a right . when you get a drivers license you are consenting to abide by all local laws and ordinances. you are free to travel by horse , or on foot , or in a taxi ect…
