Hey Brandon, inspiring again haha. Thanks man. I always forget to ask, what tablet are you using. Because I am thinking of getting a better one now. And I am wondering what to get. Of course not a Cintique, because I am not a professional. But I would like something to make my money worth 😀
+Ivo Slavov Thanks! I use a Intuos 4. It’s a bit old, and could stand to be replaced, but it works fine. I’ve also used the small graphire/bamboo tablets for years with no problems. It really comes down to personal preferences.
Always a pleasure Brandon. I wondered if you were planning to record another ‘knight and dragon’ set of videos? They were a real insight into what goes into making a geat illustration.
you can do most of this w/the basic brushes photoshop has. i’ve actually seen some digital artists advice to stick to the basic ones when you’re just starting/learning so as to not get overwhelmed w/all the options…
yes, they’re nice… tho i think it’s mostly how he uses them and it looks like he’s been doing art for a long time. If you wanna check out different brushes tho – Kyle T brushes on gumroad are really nice (googling those words should give you his store link). Most are under 10$ and he offers some for donations.
first of all, love your work and second do you think it’s smart to use a sketchbook for one specific subject? like studying anatomy or do you think it’s best to just go all out with said sketchbook? Thank you for your time.
Lasso tool accuracy over 9000
+Sr. Tauh 🙂 Thanks
